Boston shot 51.9 percent from the field and made 10 of 29 three-point attempts. Miami mounted a comeback in the third quarter with a 13-1 run to tie the score and later took the lead with a 10-2 run. 



The Heat maintained their lead in the fourth quarter despite a strong start from the Celtics. Tatum had an impressive first half, scoring 18 points, and the Celtics held a 13-point lead before Miami's comeback.
